Join the Staff

Division-Gaming.com is dedicated to covering video game news of all kinds, 7 days a week. That task can become quite difficult if you don’t have the right amount of dedicated writers to post that news. We are looking for anyone wanting to post the news or blog about video games.

We encourage all of our staff to use their own style of writing in their posts. Whether you want to stick with just posting the news, or you want to blog your opinion on the latest video game headlines; all styles are welcome.

Please note that all positions are currently Volunteer Only. In the future, we would like to change that fact, but, at this time, it’s just not possible. If being a volunteer turns you away from applying, please send us an email anyway. Maybe we can give you a timetable on when paid positions will be available. But even volunteers get great benefits. Read below to see what they are.

Everyone on our staff is a video gamer turned video game news reporter/blogger. We don’t have many requirments for our staff either. We only ask that you are dedicated, know the English language, and use your own words in your posts (as in, no copying and pasting other people’s work). And most of all, have fun.

AVAILABLE STAFF POSITIONS
We have a couple of different positions currently available for anyone to apply for. If you don’t think you’re made to do one of our available positions, but you still want to help out, we’re open to suggestions on new positions.

NEWS WRITER – If you keep yourself up to date on the latest video game news, then this is the position for you. Even if you don’t keep yourself up to date with the news, it’s pretty easy to start. We would like our news writers to be able to take the latest news and press releases and use their own words to make them enjoyable to read, but while still including the facts. We encourage our news writers to post atleast once a day on weekdays.

BLOGGERS – We would like to start including some opinionated material on the site. If you would just like to talk about your thoughts on the latest video game happenings or latest headlines, this is the position for you. Bloggers are allowed to write freely about video games (within reason). We would like bloggers to post atleast once a week.

VIDEO GALLERY MANAGER – We are currently in the process of adding a video game trailer and video gallery to the site. The main responsibility of this staff position will be to find and upload the trailers and videos to our gallery. No extra software is needed.

IMAGE GALLERY MANAGER – In the near future, we will be adding an image gallery to the site. This image gallery will mostly consist of video game screenshots. The main responsibility of this staff position will be to keep the gallery updated and organized. No extra software is needed.

We’re Open to Suggestions – If you would like to help out with something that we don’t have yet, we enjoy hearing new ideas. If the suggestion is reasonable, then we’ll do it.

Even though our writers are not paid, we still offer them certain benefits, such as free trials to full video games, press passes, and more.
