  • Rumor: Gears of War 3 Coming April 2011

    It's safe to say that a new Gears of War game is in the works, even though there has been no official announcement from the developer, Epic Games, or any info at all. Despite the lack of anything official, EDGE has posted a new article stating that a source has told them about an upcoming trailer and the expected release date of Gears of War 3. Edge says their source told them that Gears of War 3 is due for release in April 2011, and the long wait is most likely due to a few key factors....
  • Splinter Cell: Conviction Demo Releases March 18

    We learned last Friday that a Splinter Cell: Conviction demo is definitely coming to Xbox Live. What we didn't learn was whether it would be a prerelease demo or not. The demo is prerelease, as it will release this Thursday, March 18th, according to an Inside Xbox Video. The video shows some gameplay from the demo. So uh, yeah, that's it. Enjoy....

    The cure for mapathy is right around the corner, and we now have details on the five maps that it comes with, as well as the price. Modern Warfare 2's "Stimulus Package" map pack is coming March 30th, and we can now tell you that it is coming 'packaged' with 5 brand new maps. Well, sort of brand new.     Rock Band 3 won't be the only way to get your rock on this year. Green Day: Rock Band will hit the stage on June 8th. The game will be available on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Wii. You and 5 of your friends (that makes 6!) can play the music of Green Day, and unlock a whole bunch of stuff (images, rare footage of interviews, outtakes, performances, and other stuff.)   • Portal 2 Confirmed for Holiday 2010

    The sequel to one of 2007's games of the year has been revealed by GameInformer's cover for their April issue. Portal 2, the highly anticipated game that we've heard little to no information about, will be out later this year. After the cover was revealed, Valve announced that Portal 2 will arrive this coming holiday season.   • A Blur Coming Your Way

    This week, Bizarre Creations announced that its upcoming action packed race game, Blur, will be released to the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on May 25 in North America and in Europe on May 28. The game was set for a November release last year, but was delayed till 2010 for improvements on the multiplayer portion of the game.     No matter how you are playing them, if you're playing an original Xbox game online, you'll no longer be able to as of April 15th, 2010.     Microsoft annonced that rather than having game ratings for each individual game in its upcoming virtual video game aracade Game Room, the Game Room itself will be rated, at a rating of E10+. This allows Microsoft to freely flow games into the arcade quicker to its users since they won't have to wait for the ESRB to approve each game.  The bad side though, some of your favorite games that include such things as strong violence and language will not be showing up in the Game Room....
