Nintendo president Satoru Iwata confirmed that the next installment in the series of Zelda will be showed at this years E3.
"We will show the new Zelda title for Wii at this year’s E3,” said Iwata at Nintendo's third quarter financial meeting.
Hopefully Nintendo can go above and beyond with this title as they have disappointed many gamers with other Wii titles....
Netflix For Wii Announced
It would appear that Netflix is attempting to take over the world. If not the world, than it's atleast attempting to brainwash all gamers....Okay, so we may be totally off on this. But we do know one thing: Netflix is definitely trying to expand its audience. According to New York Times, Netflix services will soon be coming to the Wii.
The Wii will be joining the already Netflix-capable Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 sometime this Spring. Reggie Fils-Aime, president of Nintendo of America, said...
EA Shutting Down Several Sport Game Servers
It's the first working day of the new year, and EA is already announcing their plans to shutdown more online gaming servers for some of their "not new" games, as I like to put it. The majority of the twenty-five titles scheduled to lose their servers will lose service on February 2nd, while the remaining will lose service on February 9th. As EA put it on their post:
"Servers for the games listed below will be shut down on the indicated dates. You may continue to play the games online up un...

Call of Duty 7 Still In The Past?
The next Call of Duty-branded game is due out next year, and it's Treyarch's turn to develop this one. Even though Infinity Ward took their portion of the Call of Duty series into modern times, and EA is following suit with Medal of Honor, Treyarch is still content on making epic war games that take place in the past.
A job ad has recently been posted on Treyarch's site that may possibly reveal the upcoming game will take place in the past. While it's not much to go on, the job description ...

Shia LaBeouf Disses the Wii
A story that seems to be making quite the impression in the news today is that Hollywood star Shia Labeouf, most famous for his roles in the Transformer movies and Indiana Jones 4, has openly admitted that he hates the Wii. In an interview with The Big Download, LaBeouf talks about being a gamer...and how he dispises the Wii.
"I don't mess with the Wii, to be honest with you," LaBeouf said. "It's kind of an amateur console. I'm not into the Wii thing..This is how in a simple way you can fin...
Moore Challenges Obama
President Obama didn't make friends with any video gamer this past week. In his speech to the American Medical Association where he was talking about investing more in preventive care so that we can avoid illness and disease, he said:
"It means going for a run or hitting the gym, and raising our children to step away from the video games and spend more time playing outside."
And just yesterday, in Obama's Fathers' Day message to all Americans, he said in Sunday's Parade Magazine:
"We nee...

The latest installment in the "Need for Speed" (NFS) series was released on the 20th. (Available on PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, Wii, Microsoft Windows, PSP, and more)
