Microsoft announced today that they're cutting the price on four of the Xbox 360 SKUs in Canada. The Xbox 360 Elite is dropping from $499 to $449; the Xbox 360 Premium system is dropping from $399 to $349; the Xbox 360 Arcade Bundle has been reduced by 20 dollars to $279, and the Halo 3 Special Edition Xbox 360 is reducing its price from $449 to $399.

GDC 08: Portal 2 Confirmed on X-Play
On tonight's episode of X-Play, lead designer for Portal, Kimberly Swift, confirmed that there will be a Portal 2. We knew there would be more Portal on the way when Doug Lombardi, Valve's Director of Marketing, had previously stated that "more Portal is definitely on the way."
Now we know that there will actually be a sequel. Check out the video for the confirmation.

GDC 08 – GTA IV: Episode One
The general release date for the first piece of episodic content for Grand Theft Auto IV was announced earlier today at GDC.
"Microsoft confirmed [today] that the first downloadable "episode" for GTA IV will be coming this August. It will be exclusive to Xbox 360.
Grand Theft Auto IV: Episode One, as it's being called, is presumably the first in the previously announced two downloadable episodes for Rockstar's sequel."

GDC 08 – Gears of War 2 Finally Announced!
Today, during the GDC Microsoft Keynote, Gears of War 2 was officially announced. A teaser trailer was played during the keynote which can be seen below:

The keynote ended with an announcement that the release date for GoW2 is November 2008 as an Xbox 360 exclusive.

GDC 08 – Wii release dates
Nintendo has just announced a few release dates that might make a few Wii fans happy.
Nintendo is set to launch Wiiware, a place to down original Wii content, on May 12th, 2008.
Also, the highly anticipated release of Wii Fit for the United States has finally been set. It will land in the US on May 19th, 2008.
