Nintendo 3DS Announced, Unveil at E3, Details Emerge
Rumor had it that a new portable system from Nintendo was coming soon, and rumor had it that it was a new iteration of the DS. Well, rumors have been right before; but the big feature was missed in all the rumors.....it's going to be in 3D.
A press release on Nintendo's Japanese site confirmed the company's new handheld system, the "Nintendo 3DS." As the name indicates, it will incorporate 3D technology; but we're unsure if this will be the name of the final product.

Rumor: Gears of War 3 Coming April 2011
It's safe to say that a new Gears of War game is in the works, even though there has been no official announcement from the developer, Epic Games, or any info at all. Despite the lack of anything official, EDGE has posted a new article stating that a source has told them about an upcoming trailer and the expected release date of Gears of War 3.
Edge says their source told them that Gears of War 3 is due for release in April 2011, and the long wait is most likely due to a few key factors....

Announced just a couple of weeks ago to be getting a modern day reboot, the first footage of Medal of Honor was shown at tonight's VGAs. With tons of explosions and amazing graphics, this new game might put Medal of Honor back on top.

09 VGA – Halo: Reach Trailer Debut
The first ever footage of the next installment in the Halo series, Halo: Reach, was just revealed. The trailer started off kind of slow, following a couple of Spartans on their way to the Spartan camp. Yeah, that's right. Multiple Spartans. Female Spartans too. Yeah. Females.

09 VGA – Batman: Arkham Asylum 2
Spike's Video Game Awards just opened up with a bang, quite literally. A very large box appeared on stage, and the all familiar Joker voice of Mark Hamill started playing on the loudspeakers. The box exploded, and Joker's henchmen filled the room while releasing "toxic" gas. With the audience and millions of viewers worldwide thoroughly hyped up now, a video started playing on the screen.

E3 ‘09 – Metal Gear Rising for PS3, PC
Hideo Kojima announced at the Konami press conference that in addition to a Xbox 360 release, Metal Gear Rising will also be coming to the PS3 and PC.

E3 ‘09 – Metal Gear Arcade Announced
At Konami's press conference, Kojima took the stage to announce another Metal Gear title.
'Metal Gear Arcade' is going to be released on the PlayStation 3 - the arcade cabinet will have such features as 3D goggles, a unique interface, and networking abilities with other cabinets.
Kojima said the game will be released in Japan this year. It is unknown when a US release will be....
