GDC 08: Portal 2 Confirmed on X-Play
On tonight's episode of X-Play, lead designer for Portal, Kimberly Swift, confirmed that there will be a Portal 2. We knew there would be more Portal on the way when Doug Lombardi, Valve's Director of Marketing, had previously stated that "more Portal is definitely on the way."
Now we know that there will actually be a sequel. Check out the video for the confirmation.

Wiihabilitation
According to SignOnSanDiego.com, The Nintendo Wii is becoming fairly popular in rehab therapy. Patients that have suffered from strokes, broken bones, surgeries and combat injuries find Wiihabilitation more fun that regular PT. Though Nintendo doesn't advertise the therapeutic uses of the Wii, a lot of hospitals around Chicago have purchased Wii's.

Rock Band announced for the Wii
John Riccitiello, CEO of EA confirmed in a conference call today that Rock Band will soon be coming to Wii. Though no date of release was mentioned, there was at least a general confirmation that it will eventually be released. No details on instruments or new song additions have been mentioned.

New DS color leaked
A new color for the Nintendo DS has been leaked onto the internet on CircuitCity.com. The color is a nice, shiney looking Blue-Black combination. It resembles the Crimson-Onyx DS color combination; but of course this one is a Cobalt-Onyx type color scheme.
The listing for this DS has since been taken down off of the Circuit City site. While it was up, no release date was given; but the usual price tag of $129.99 was posted. We can expect an announcement from Nintendo very soon.

Rumors of a price drop are circulating all over the net. The new price is set at $299 and is set to supposedly drop on January 29.
