Rumor had it that a new portable system from Nintendo was coming soon, and rumor had it that it was a new iteration of the DS. Well, rumors have been right before; but the big feature was missed in all the rumors.....it's going to be in 3D. A press release on Nintendo's Japanese site confirmed the company's new handheld system, the "Nintendo 3DS." As the name indicates, it will incorporate 3D technology; but we're unsure if this will be the name of the final product. If the inclusion ...
  • Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days Dated for August 24
    by Corey Winter
    Posted March 17th, 2010 at 9:59 pm
It seems like it's been a long time since I've killed an unworldly amount of cops while robbing a bank and then going on a high-speed interstate chase, all to save my daughter. Oh wait, I'm thinking of when I played Kane & Lynch: Dead Men back in 2007. Pardon my confusion. I guess I just can't wait to play Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days, which just so happens to have just been officially confirmed for a August 24th release. The date is also revealed in the new Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days...

We never reported on it, but a couple of weeks ago, a game of the year edition  of Batman: Arkham Asylum (with 3D glasses) was announced for Europe, Asia and Australia....but not North America. You may now breathe a sigh of relief, as a North American version (with 3D glasses) has been announced. Eidos Interactive has confirmed that Game of the Year edition will be coming to the US in May. This edition comes complete with the original game, plus four extra challenge maps. Not to mention.....

    by Corey Winter
    Posted March 16th, 2010 at 3:37 pm
It's safe to say that a new Gears of War game is in the works, even though there has been no official announcement from the developer, Epic Games, or any info at all. Despite the lack of anything official, EDGE has posted a new article stating that a source has told them about an upcoming trailer and the expected release date of Gears of War 3. Edge says their source told them that Gears of War 3 is due for release in April 2011, and the long wait is most likely due to a few key factors....

Modern Warfare 2's "Stimulus Package" map pack is coming March 30th, and we can now tell you that it is coming 'packaged' with 5 brand new maps. Well, sort of brand new. • Infinity Ward Employees Not Leaving Because They Want Their Money
    by Corey Winter
    Posted March 12th, 2010 at 6:39 pm
Did you really expect that we had heard the last of this? Developers and other employees that still work at Infinity Ward apparently want out, but aren't leaving due to unpaid royalties. Rumor has it that Activision is playing dirty. They are continuing to delay the payment of royalties in order to keep people on staff and working. It's a dirty move, but clever. The royalties are for Modern Warfare 2, and every Infinity Ward employee that had their hand in the game is due some amount of roy...

"Yes, there will be one. I can't tell you what map or when it's going to be released yet. My lips are sealed," Beland said in the video that is viewable after the break in this post.
