The Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions hit the shelves last November, but the PC version of Assassin’s Creed II was delayed til the Q1 2010 release window. But Ubisoft today revealed that PC gamers need wait not much longer, as Assassin’s Creed II will find its way onto your PC on March 16th.
But Ubisoft apparently couldn’t keep the crowd happy for long, as they also announced the unusually high price of $59.99 for the game. It’s very rare for PC games to be priced as much as console games, but to kind of make up for it, the game will come packaged with two of the upcoming DLC packs, Battle of Forli and Bonfire of the Vanities. A “Black Edition” of the game will also be available for $64.99, which includes the 2 DLC packs and “additional content” that’s not included in the standard edition. The Black Edition will be digital-download only.
